Inspiration!
The four ‘tribes’ within the club do overlap, but are nonetheless distinct:
Skiffers - racing but also social trips
Rowers - fine boats of four or eight.
Punters - can be solitary, can be racing, also exploring backwaters
Kayakers - exploring backwaters and cocktails in the evening
There are other dimensions of the club which could be represented
Social side - parties at the boat club
The Rag Regatta - our own in-club regatta with a focus on fun events like coracling, dongolas and group kayak races
Competitive regattas - for skiffers and punters, lots of away regattas with trophies and medals
Club maintenance - sounds dull, but we're a hands-on club! Mowing the lawn and scrubbing goose poo come to mind....
Children's swim test - twice a year followed by hot chocolate
