Congratulations on your 50th Wedding Anniversary Stephen and Jeanne xx

Hi Mike,

I have had a think and thought the love heart bespoke may be a nice way to celebrate all the moments over the last 50 years. I created this page so we can design a piece together.

You can share it if you wish and it can be part of the piece you give to your mum and Dad at the celebration in May. I have started doing canvases with paint and gold leaf and could create a piece for behind the sofa for £1200 including canvas and frame, gold leaf. ( inc your Sidders discount, pieces usually start at 1800 inc frame )

We can include as many details as you wish to make it really personal. I would take 50% up front and balance on approval. I can complete and print it by 16 May. Have a think and let me know any thoughts. Below is a starter image purely to show the colour palette, Jeanne loves pale blue and pinks so this can be a feature. Ive added sketches of Henley, herbs, 2swans, champagne.

I’d love to create this piece for you all, it will be a real talking point and something to treasure.

 
 

Love Heart Bespoke Artworks

This bespoke collection captures the passion, happiness and shared history of two people, their friends and family.

Inspired by amulets and milagros (ancient symbols of love and protection) the heart symbols reference local places, landmarks, discovered details and histories. The expressive brushstrokes are inspired by map references and symbols, as if taking a journey.

Fragments of music scores, architectural elements, patterns, historical information, recipes, ancient script and maps tell the story of a
love between 2 people that has grown over time.

Below are a few ideas for the content in the artwork we create for your mum and dad.

  • sketched bottle of champagne, 2 flutes

  • 2 pairs of wellies ( can be more to include the whole Sidders Crew!)

  • photo/s of S & J

  • Photos of family and friends ..These can be black and white to add continuity

  • sketches of places eg Waterside Inn, their lovely home etc

  • map sections of significant places

  • special dates eg wedding date

  • names / words written within the piece

  • favourite things

  • flowers from the garden eg Stephen’s Aliums, roses..

  • favourite colours used throughout

  • phrases , quote or line of poetry/ song lyrics

  • heart shaped section of music score from a favourite track

  • wedding photos

  • 50 butterflies.. one for every year together

  • gold leaf added ( your mum loved this in other pieces plus its their golden anniversary!)

  • patterns and colours from the room where it will hang.. eg the cushions

  • other stuff we haven’t thought of yet : )
